Sławomir coordinates work in the projects pertaining to personal data protection. His practice encompasses: the conformity assessment of the range, aims and means of processing the personal data; reviewing the compliance with IT systems law in the transmission of personal data to the third countries; providing ongoing advice in various aspects of the personal data processing. He has experience in transaction advisory services in the field of intellectual property law, providing legal support in the research and development projects. He has represented many entities in criminal and civil procedures related to the infringement of the intellectual property rights, legally protected secrets and unfair competition.
He took part in the work of the Working Group for GDPR implementation in finance and e-commerce sectors at the Ministry of Digital Affairs. A member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. A Ph.D. student in the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School at Leon Kozminski Academy, and the lecturer (at the said Academy) on the postgraduate studies in the field of personal data protection. Academically, he deals with the issues related to automated decision making.
