Bartłomiej Wachta


A lawyer, co-founder of the Maruta Wachta law firm. Bartłomiej has received numerous recommendations in both domestic and international rankings, such as Chambers Europe, Legal 500, and Rzeczpospolita, where he was nominated as a leader and leading individual in public procurement law, the best lawyer in his field (consecutively in 2016, 2017 and 2018).


He specializes in public procurement law, new technology law, as well as digital transformations. He is a co-author of the current legal codification in the field of public procurement.

Experience and academic work

For several years Bartłomiej has been representing the parties before the National Appeal Chamber, and also before the Panel of Arbitrators of the Public Procurement Office. He has over 15 years of experience in supporting IT contracts in both private and public sector. 

Mr. Wachta is a lecturer at the Leon Kozminski Academy and the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). He also gives lectures at Institute for International Research, Centre for the Promotion of Information Technology (Centrum Promocji Informatyki), International Data Group Poland, and Certified Global Education. A permanent speaker at the most important business conferences, e.g. Cisco Forum, Konica-Minolta Business Solutions, and the Asseco Poland Partners Conference. Bartłomiej is a co-author of numerous publications dealing with the legal problems regarding the support of the IT industry and the public procurement.
