Mateusz specialises in data protection and new technologies, as well as the finance sector’s regulations and banking law matters. He participated in the GDPR implementation in entities operating in the market for payment services, banks and insurance companies.
Mateusz graduated with honors at the Law and Administration Faculty of the Warsaw University. He is the post-graduate course participant at the German Law School of Bonn University. He received the Rector’s Scholarship for high-achieving students of the Zagreb University. Mateusz has gained his professional experience working in the law department of one of the biggest Polish banks and in the law firm dealing with corporate law matters.
He is the president and one of the founders of the Innovation Finance Technology Association (IFTA), which concentrates on, inter alia, financial innovation and the impact that new technologies have on the finance sector. In 2016-2017, he was the head of the Banking Law Student Research Group at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University. In 2015-2017, he was the organiser and project manager of the VIII and IX National Banking Law Congress and representative of Student Government Board. Participant of many negotiation competitions.
